Today, there is a lot of talk about unmanned aerial vehicles, their types, modifications, and purposes. An unmanned aerial vehicle is, without a doubt, one of the main types of ensuring warfare in modern conditions.

It is a scout, a controller, and a means of defeat. But the enemy's technology and its development and improvement do not stand in one place. The enemy of Ukraine is insidious and vile, who, regardless of the poverty of the lives of its citizens, is increasingly trying to invest in the means of destroying the civilian population and carrying out terrorist acts on the territory of other states. Drones are not an exception. And that is why anti-drone means for Ukraine are a necessity today. This is the safety of our defenders and the local population of border settlements.

Ukrainian border guards, who effectively protect the borders of their state, actively use such tools in their activities, including, of course, anti-drone guns and means of detecting and transmitting radar information about aerial objects.

Anti-drone devices used by border units are portable devices for radio-electronic warfare against unmanned aerial vehicles. They are designed to disable small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles by jamming communications and satellite navigation systems using an electromagnetic pulse.

All devices are quite simple to master. It is enough to have a charged battery, visually determine the target and, using the optical sight, aim as accurately as possible and press the trigger. Directional antennas send a pulsed "shot" and neutralize the drone, which loses contact with the operator's remote control.

All detection and countermeasures complexes have successfully passed appropriate tests at the international level for admission to operation. The systems are equipped with radio modules of the most common control frequencies, which work only in the selected range and do not interfere with the operation of their unmanned aerial vehicles.

The airspace from enemy drones over the northern border is well protected.
